Discipline

The college endeavors to help the students develop acceptable behavior and good habits. Any student found guilty of irregular attendance, truancy, disobedience to teachers and college authority, bullying of college mates and any other misbehavior will severely be penalized.

All the members of the college staff are to be greeted and addressed with due respect at all places. Showing discourtesy to the teachers and staff members in any form is a major offence which may make the student(s) concerned liable for stern disciplinary action like forced transfer and ever expulsion from the college. 

An absentee shall bring an application duly countersigned by the parent/guardian stating the specific reason(s) of his absence and the same shall have to be produced to the Principal on the reporting day. If the absence is more than 10 days in case of illness, a medical certificate must be produced on the reporting day.

No student will be allowed to attend classes unless he/she is properly dressed in full college uniform.

Students are expected to be in the college before 15 minutes of the college hours. Late comers shall report to the Principal before entering the classroom.

No student will be allowed to leave the college premises during the college hours without the permission of the Principal. 

If any student is found to have damaged any property of the College, the guardian of the student shall be liable to replace the damaged article for a new one.

Any communication (appeal/complaint) is to be addressed to the Principal of the College.

Nobody including parents/guardians will be allowed to meet any student in the college premises during the college hours without the permission of the Principal.

Students are not allowed to bring jewelry and electronic goods or any costly articles into the college.
Students are not allowed to raise fund/subscription of any kind without the permission from the Principal. 

For health and hygiene, students can bring lunch from their home.
A student suffering from a contagious disease will not be permitted to attend his/her classes until he/she is fully cured.

A student who has lost his/her Identity Card shall have to pay double the price of the original I-Card for a duplicate copy.
Any student found copying or using any unfair means during examination will be expelled from the examination hall. 

Ragging of new students, smoking and taking drugs are strictly prohibited inside the college campus.

All powers for maintenance of discipline are vested with the Principal and his decision shall be final in such matters. 

Any of the following acts by a student shall be considered a major offence against discipline :
* Habitual unpunctuality.
* Failure to attend 75% of the total classes & abstaining from the college examinations.
* Failure to attend the college festivals.
* Attending the college without college uniform.
* Disobedience to teachers and college authority.
* Defacing, damaging or devaluing any college property.
* Various kinds of immoral & indecent acts & acts of public nuisance, breach of public peace.
* Holding any meeting in the college campus without prior written permission from the Principal.
* Indulging in any strike, picketing, hartal and hunger strike of any kind.
* Pasting or circulating any notice anywhere in the college without the approval of the Principal.
* Taking private tuition in College Hours or without prior permission of the Principal.
* Violation of any other rule framed by the college authority from time to time for maintaining discipline in the college.
